What is Dental Assistant Training?
What does it take to be a dental assistant? Well, lots of things actually. You have to be ready for a clinical environment that can change at a moment’s notice. You have to be ready to help patients coming in and out of the office and handle billing, invoices, payments and other clerical responsibilities. You’ll also spend some time helping out the dentists and hygienists on your team to make their day-to-day tasks and procedures easier.
Of course, in order to do this, you need the proper education and training to make sure that you are ready for anything the dental field can hand to you. Everything from processing lab tests to sterilizing dental instruments are important skills to know if you want to be a successful dental assistant.
We also understand that you lead a busy life and that you may not have the advantage of being able to go back to school full-time; however, we believe that everyone should be able to receive the education they need while still being able to work and care for their families.
